I have a lovely neighbor who gifted me a certificate to a local Denver restaurant, Wildflower, for my birthday. My husband and I had a chance to finally try out this place that we’ve been meaning to go for a while. It sure didn’t disappoint!

Wildflower is located inside the Life House Hotel in the LoHi area. We had no problem finding street parking on a Friday night. As we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess immediately.

We stayed at Candy Cane Inn for 4 nights on a recent trip to Disneyland. This was one of the most impressive hotels I’ve stayed at for the price point. It is a top notch hotel in service, quality, amenities, comfort and cleanliness. From the outside, the inn is set up like a typical motel, with corridors facing outside and rooms entrances along the corridors. The hotel lobby decor is welcoming and bright with coffee (regular and decaf), as well as water and flavored water available all day.
